1. As many of you know (or at least remember), I'm trying to get into JRPGs' (no luck so far after playing folklore and eternal sonata. UGH!!!)

I'm gonna try Final Fantasy but I need to know something about the story. For every sequal, is the story continued or is it something new?

2. Can you also offer some other JRPG games?

3. Are JRPGs' good because of the story or gameplay?

1. Each main game is its own story
2. Chrono Trigger (DS), Secret of Mana (VC)
   
3. Story, they traditionally actually have bad gameplay.
4. Start with Final Fantasy VI on the GBA or Final Fantasy IV on the DS (I know you didn't ask but it should be said :-p)

Why don't you try Lost Odyssey? Lots of fun to be had there and it's one of the morre highly praised JRPGs of the generation.
