Translation: In the October Nummer of Electronic Gaming Monthly (EGM) there will be an article dedicated to developer Naught Dog. Where everyone thought that Naughty dog would start with an Jak and Daxter game on the Ps3, they came with the brand new Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.

The next game of Naughty Dog will be (according to EGM) a new part of the Jak and Daxter series. A source is not named by the magazine but according to EGM they have their own spy's for that.

Jak And Daxter on the PS3 sounds very good to us though.

Please God in heaven let this rumor be true. Sorry if this was already posted.

This seems more obvious than rumor. UNLESS, they were planning on NOT doing more Jak, which I doubt.

Like with Sucker Punch. They are working on their new IP Infamous and, after that, they should get started on Sly 4.

im gona be a meany on this but this is old to me. i have a friend who was in a playtest with jak and daxter 4. he is anti sony and didnt know i love jak and daxter. ill let u guys take that with a grain or jar of salt (in other words i dont blame u for not believing) since he did end up playing it.

i really hope it comes out soon. im aching for a new one, this will be the third year without jak :( (no psp btw, i want one but i dont have one yet.)

I've heard Evan Wells state that they want to go back to Jak, but they are currently busy working on Uncharted, and work has not started on Jak 4 yet.

@soccerdrew17: when did your friend tell you this, did he have pictures, because otherwise he must be making this up; they wouldn't start playtests for a game that's probably not going to come out for another year, although it could be less if it's for the PSP

I thought I heard they wanted to start a new character/series and not go back to Jak....kind of like they did with Crash Bandicoot....sell off the property and start fresh. Although it has been a while since I heard that.
