None of the recent Sonic games have blazed any kind of new trails. Sure, they were mediocre games, but even mediocre Mario titles sell like crazy. Why is Sonic no longer selling stuff the way he used to in the Genesis era?

Sonic does great when he's at the Olympics.

Otherwise... Sonic games since the Genesis have never sold that damn highly.

Mario sold that game and Sonic was only along for the ride.

If it was Sonic at the Olympics, that game would've flopped.

sonic still has a fanbase they just dont buy all the sonic games i mean they made like 2 games last year right

sega should give nintendo a shoot with sonic and see what they could do

This would be fairly awesome.

The concept of sonic doesn't lend much to the franchises' growth. Also, ppl just aren't interested anymore with all the rubbish that's come out these past years.

How do you guys figure Sonic games flop without Mario? Ever checked out the sales of Sonic & the Secret Rings and Sonic Unleashed? Both multi-million sellers.
