Awesome! So I guess I'm one of the 1 million owners of a 360 in Japan, cool!

So the 360 has more than doubled the Xbox 1 sales in Japan. (According to VGC the Xbox 1 sold 477K in Japan) I had no idea, I still remember when they were tracking pretty close to each other.
Congrats to the 360 in Japan!

starcraft: "I and every PS3 fanboy alive are waiting for Versus more than FFXIII.
Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."

Skeeuk: "playstation 3 is the ultimate in gaming acceleration"

Finally, ... now we don't have anything to count down to in Japan :(

Grat news! I believe the 360 will top out around 1.8m in Japan by the end of its life.

PS3 reached 3 million! And Wii will reach 8 million in 5-6 weeks!

Japan is still dead tho.

That is/was expected, but not 360 reaching a mill.

Not a 360 fanboy, just a PS3 fanboy hater that likes putting them in their place ^.^

Great for the Redmond guys.

Good job Microsoft! Go for 2 million now!

2 million ltd sales for X360 in Japan by end of console generation. X360 price cut, drop further and bundling can help console sales.

Would not surprise me at all if FFXIII gets ported to X360 in Japan ~ 6 months after it debuts on PS3 and probably in time for the Europe/NA FFXIII release on PS3 and X360.

Next generation could see MS overtake PS in all regions including Japan. Two year head start with exclusives games on next XBox should help their cause.

If it weren't for the xbox and Halo I would hate ms. I think its great that they were able to sell 1million 360s.

Love is whats most important.

@numonex, jees man listen to yourself. Most of the things you say are just daft lol. Its 130 quid. Thats as cheap as I've known for a console so good.

On topic this is amazing, I never thought they would try as hard as they have in Japan (WW too). I really feel that they get what gamers want for them. Sure they are in it for money, but I just feel like they think of what people want and deliver. Make any sense?
