Forums - Sony - What is your favorite class/combo/side/weapon/map in Killzone 2 Warzone?

Well first off I'd like to say that I prefer the Helghast on most of the maps athough they are mostly similar.  Map wise I'd say Corinth Crossing because for a smaller map there are so many possibilities and tactics to be used/combined.  I really enjoy playing the Engineer with a secondary of boost.  I can cruise where I need to get to pretty quickly when no spawn points are available.  This might change as I still have a few more badges to get but I'm not sure if it'll change much.  I also love the shotgun.  It seems to me that the shotgun gets a bit of a lock on when you are boosted, but I might be imagining things...

Rocket launchers piss me off!

Anyway, what do you prefer and why?

I'm just loving this game, so far it has given me the most value this gen!

Wanna play?

My favorite classes:

A) Scout
Pros: 1> The advantage of surprise.
2> C4 gives me some safe kills
3> Really good for assasination missions as you can sneak past enemy defenses
4>Higher speed which helps me escape hotspots.

Cons: 1>Weak armor
2>The SMG which is pretty much useless in a frontal battle with any assault rifle.
3> Have to always work solo.

B) Assault class
Pros: 1> 50% reduced damage
2> Boost is a great way of engaging enemies as you constantly regenrate health while getting hit.
3> Rockets do lot of damage when repelling waves of enemies (Particularly in Blood Gracht)
Cons: 1>Only 3 rockets, you have to aim well
2>Rocket launchers are cheap

C)Medic class
Pros: 1> Great team player (heals team members and revives them).
2> Heal pack can heal yourself also.
3> Good default armor
4> Decent default guns.
Cons: 1>Tend to get killed more when your attention is towards downed team mates.
2> Good for support but not for primary roles
3> Not much good going solo.

Nothing beats sabature class for me :) their weapons suck but i have no problem picking up a gun off a guy i just shot point blank in the face

Scout with the spot and mark. I love the desert level. It is such fun to go through and just snipe people over and over again without being found.

Saboteur is by far my favorite. I love hearing people going crazy at me after I kill them in disguise. Priceless.

As far as weapons go, the original ISA gun is the best IMO. It's good in both short and long range. I hate being limited by my gun's range.

Finally, Blood Grach is my favorite map. It's extremely small but extremely deep at the same time. I also love radec academy.

IF we take a four man squad. What do you think is the ideal combination of classes to make a killer team? Say the mission is capture and hold or search and destroy.

My take: 1) Engineer : Setup defenses and use the shotgun
2) Scout: take up a defensive position a little far away. From where he gets a good view of any approach pathways and becomes invisible.
3) Tactician: create a spawn point inside the defensive zone
3) Medic: stay inside the defensive zone and revive/heal the engineer.

That is a very good plan.  This could even be used in a deathmatch and save many casualties.  Looks like we need to find a Scout and Tactician and we're set!

Man, I like all the badges and maps in killzone 2. I think that it is one of the most balance mutiplayer games out there. Everyone that has a PS3 should buy this game and experince how awesome this game is. Well Mutiplayer wise.

Coming from someone called MSG4COD4HALO3 I am sure you should all take his advice!
