Forums - Sony - Do you want Uncharted 2 to have co-op?

it would make sense only if it had levels made especially for coop. like with some features removed to ensure playiability ..but if you can only run around and shoot some bad guys with a friend and solve some puzzles.. why not play re5 instead ?

because i dont see how they could change the singleplayer style from the first game to something that actually works with another player

.................what!?

Get online and stop using your AI partner.

With games like Uncharted and RE5 I like to play alone. I wouldnt like my partner running around like a crazy guy.

With ga

Well, it certainly doesn't need co-op. But anything Naughty Dog do is just f'ing awesome so why not. It would add replay value.

with uncharted i could see why you would want to play alone, however RE5 is what i don't understand your complaint from. I personally loved the new edition of online co-op and feel it turned what would have been a mediocre game to a great game.

Also if they get some guy who's kinda badass or simply humorous like Sean William Scott is to Dwayne Johnson then I think it could work. Just have the option for single player if you like to always get caught up in something with another NPC. Change in-game cinematics slightly.

The thing is that I didnt even want to have a partner in RE5. I like playing RE games alone with no partner, be it AI or Online partner.

i would love multiplayer but thats just because i love multiplayer games

No, I would rather play on mine own to be honest; sometimes games work with a partner and sometimes you just end up with some random guy online dicking around... The latter of which would detract from my experience of Uncharted 2, and that is something I don't want to contemplate!

It'd be a day-one buy for me if it had co-op.

Hard for me to justify spending $40-60 on a 10 hour game without any form of multiplayer. Though if the campaign had RE4/Zelda:OoT quality, I wouldn't mind at all.
