I think Microsoft expected more out of Halo Wars.

 

It's reach 2 million. The game will sell well once the holidays roll around. It's going to easily pass a million next week and most likely sell another 200-300K over the next 10 weeks. I think it can break 2 million. People keep trying to compare sales of this game to the FPS Halo games, which you can't. Most people love and play FPS, then they do RTS. This is why you don't see huge sales for RTS games on game consoles.

Come on Max, not EVERYONE on this site hates all things Sony if they own a 360 (or vice versa).  An RTS selling this much, in such a short time, is worthy of noting, EVEN if it only speaks to the power of the Halo brand (the game really is a lot of fun though).

If you don't like Raz's post history, that is cool, but why try to rain on Halo War's parade?  Slippery wasn't definitively stating these were sold numbers.  Besides, .83 or 1M... both are pretty damn good for an RTS, no?
