Ok, we all know that GT5 will be PS3's biggest game and we know that it will move systems. But will it be the system seller it once was? Will it outclass Halo, Gears or GTA?

I dont think it has or will have the same momentum the previous GT games had. In fact I dont even think it will sell close to GT4. Your talking about 10 million sales. Weve seen Killzone 2, a quality game in development for 4 years that had the most hype any game got this gen but it only sold 1.3 million in its first 3 weeks.

The game will be good and im getting it first day but will it be the system seller that PS3 is looking for?

I think it will sell 6 million LT but we'll see. Who knows it might surprise me and sell 10 million.

Yes it is, it is the only true System Seller the PS3 has left. I predict the PS3 will move alot of consoles that week. Maybe in 700K-800K range. But I beleive the game will sell, close to 3 million 1st week with 8 million lifetime.

you relly think so? Judjing from other PS3 games I think it will sell only 6 million LT

i think it will. it's one of the reasons as to why i haven't bought a ps3 yet. i cant wait for it to come out.

I do not think it will have as much of an the impact as some expect nor do I think it will have the impact it would have had were it to have come out 2 years ago.

I think GT5 is the only real PS3 system seller (not counting FFXIII in Japan)

it'll skyrocket sales in Europe, some good jumps in Japan and a little bit in America. Americans are not buying racing games anymore. But it will definitely help PS3 if GT5 comes out earlier. The later it releases, the less significant it'll be for a temporary boost.

I know GT was the biggest system seller for PS1 and PS2 but I dont expect the same results.
