It's very good. Sigma ran better than 360's NG2 did.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma was not a port because it never was made for the xbox 360. Only ninja gaiden 1 and 2 was made for the 360. Look at www.gamestop.com for proof.

It's not native 1080p, not according to beyond3d at least, and both are 60 fps (even the Xbox game was). It does seem to run better, but that's not very surprising considering the number of enemies was lower.
Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised if NGS 2 ran better than NG2, it could be more polished since the game is now done and they can focus on polish and optimization. In any case NG2 runs pretty good too, unfortunately with some slowdown at times. Still a great game though.

Are you fing serious?
Its not a direct port but youre trying to make it seem like it is its own game. Its more like an "enhanced-port" It doesnt have enough in to be called a remake and it sure as hell isnt a new game.
OT:I cant imagine it was too bad. NG and NGB were great games I cant see exactly how they would screw it up by adding some things.

There's no such game as Ninja Gaiden 1, especially not for the 360. What exists is Ninja Gaiden and its remake (Ninja Gaiden Black) both for the Xbox. NG Black then got ported to the PS3 as NG Sigma, it was never on the 360 (except through backwards compatibility).

Sigma was a fantastic game. I've played it through a couple times.
I would put it on par with the 360 NG2, personally, for fun factor. I haven't played the XBox NGs -- just NGS and NG2.
I didnt play the original, but sigma was a great game on its own. Was one of the first games I bought, I prefer DMC4, but sigma gave me fun while I was waiting.
Gameplaywise its awesome, it was hard though. Graphics where cool, nothing special just a little bit dated compared to newer games, the story was not so good but that would be a problem of both games.

The graphics were average (still a good difference with NG Black), but it doesn't really matter. Graphic wise, Ninja Gaiden 2 isn't exactly technical behemoth either.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma runs very smoothly (probably even better than NG2). The game is basically just an enhanced version of Black with Rachel and some new weapons.
so seems like it won't have graphic issues or frame rate issues in the PS3 port of the Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
