I want to buy an HDMI cable (or two) for my consoles, and I have two questions since I know nothing about this stuff.

1. Does the quality of the cable matter? I would be more happy with a $14 cable that is alright then with a $99 cable that is very good.

2. Which cable is for use with consoles? HDMI "male to male" or something else?

yeah the price doesnt matter, some just try to get you when they say, OHH IT'S GOLDPLATED I WANT $80 FOR THIS, the same 7.99 is the same quality.

Virtually any HDMI cable will work the same. DO NO go spend 99 dollars on one at best buy or some place. That is a gigantic rip off. Going online you can get them for 10-15 bucks. The one you show looks fine, albeit a little short, but I have my stuff spread out from my TV a bit, so that may work fine for your set up.

Thanks to both of you, you told me exactly what I wanted to hear. They have one for $8.88 that is twice as long, so I'll just buy that one.
