I agree.  we need to wait on this.  Already the market is starting to get better and he has only been in office 2 months.  Obviously something is pulling right behind the scenes.  It's too early to be judging his Intelligence.  I mean, people gave Bush a second term even before saying he was full of crap.  Why so quick with Obama?

American politics are borderline hysterical.

You have two parties with completely different ideaologies and you get to choose between them to rule you. Everytime one party gains power they start to undo everything the other party did for the last however many years. You guys seriously need some moderates in the middle.

Mind you I spose we aren't much better, we have two parties who are practically the same. We need some more radical parties.

America has tried to have more than 2 major parties, but every time a serious 3rd party contender comes along, it splits the vote of one of the major parties, leading to the victory of the other one.

For example, Ross Perot split the Republican vote, helping Bill Clinton win the election.

You actually need to change your entire electoral system to be something like MMP, your current system is ridiculously biased to the idea of two parties.

Of course that will probably never happen because the two parties themselves are quite happy with the arrangements and they would have to be the ones to change it.

Instant runoff voting is gaining traction in many areas; I believe Minneapolis is adopting some forn of IRV. Once a state goes, I expect many to follow.

Yea, both parties are so different.

One is for big government. The other... expanded government
One expanded the military over seas, the other... expanded military over seas.
One cut taxes, the other... cut taxes.
One gave huge bailouts to companies that should have entered bankruptcy. the other did the same thing
One gave us the biggest deficit in our history, the other... doubled it.

Glad you guys voted for change.

The only change is everything bad about Bush x 10.
