Forums - Microsoft - Tiger Woods 08. Another fine example of EA's incopetence.

It's amusing how for some people every forum topic becomes about the Wii.

"This company should focus on the Wii version of some game."

"The future game mentioned in this thread looks like it would work great on the Wii."

"Blame company X for not making the Wii version of a multiplatform game as good as the other versions." (useful for when sales predictions backfire)

And on and on...

Have you ever thought that Wii owners want better third-parties because the ones out suck. Is it a crime for wishing multiplat games to maintain quality for one of the systems. And besides, this topic is partially about Wii because Tiger Woods 08 is a Wii game.

Hey, Madden on the Wii was quality (see the link above). All the comments before it came out were about how it looks really good. It has special Wiimote controls, an awesome telestrator, and cool mini-games, unlike the other inferior versions. Plus it is cheaper. It's going to outsell every other version but the 360. It will sell over 1 million. "The Tandy version should outsell the PS3 version."

Oh wait, it's being outsold even by the Xbox (RIP) version? EA SUX!!

We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai

It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps

We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick
