Anyone knows a place where I can 'get' Death Note on a per episode basis? Because getting it as a whole will take long teand I will lose interest before it finishes.

Do you mean as streaming episodes? Because if it is, dear lolita has an answer to your aweful problem: www.animeviewer.net

I'll divide it into shows and movies:

Animated Series
Eureka 7 (See avatar, I absolutely love this anime and so should you)
FMA ('Nuff said)
Ouran High School Host Club
Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
Busou Renkin

Animated Movies (Okay, so it's all Miyazaki, but let's ignore that)
Princess Mononoke
Princess Nasake of the Wind Valley
Howl's Moving Castle
Spirited Away
*insert five more Studio Ghibi movies*
I like Princess Nausica as well, saw it the first time that it came to america in the early 90's.  I also like Porko Rosso if you've seen that.

1 Flanders no Inu (D'uh it is a story about my city)
2 Azumanga Daioh
3 Naruto
4 Tokyo Tribes
5 Lucky Star

And all the ghibli films are in my top 5.

I watched alot of anime, too many good one to name. The one that struck me the most and still remember the sadness in there.

I'll have to give the #1 spot to Grave of the Fireflies, omg this one is a true classic!!! and you think titanic is sad -.-; wait till you see Grave of the Fireflies
