Forums - Gaming - Resident Evil 5 and its Hollywood style is quite hillarious

After playing RE5 for a few hours today I have to say that the decision to go with a Hollywood script, dialogue, actors and motion captures makes RE5 reach a new level of camp in my books

The dialogue and the facial expressions are over exaggerated and taken so seriously with lines straight out of a Michael Bay movie.

Things like...Chris saying something like "Quite a welcome they give to Americans" to a Rusian guy who got the same welcome as him or Sheeva saying the word "Partner" and then Chris having an immediate flashback of Jill and what happened... These things remind me of shows like House/ 24 and other cheezy serious drama stuff you see on the TV.

I totally immagine a steamy sex scene between Chris and Sheeva...it will fit the mood from what I saw thus far. Nipple shots and everything...

Otherwise, its true what everyone has been saying. The game a blast in coop...alone not so much.

Around the Network

Oh, the dialogue gets worse.
Later on, while you're in a Jeep picking off motorcycle riding Majini, the driver yells out "that's gonna affect the resale value! after being hit with a rocket.
Also, after a particular character transforms into a gigantic, hideous boss, the first thing he says is "I just got an extreme makeover!".

lmao. Love it.

Wow, how peculiar. Can't wait to play it myself!
