With this post representing a near INFINITE amount of exposure that anyone's concern for giving an iota, Guilty Gears Overture now will shine brilliantly (in this post, represented by the fact I actually OWN the game). It's first post in a LONG time, if ever, have already surpassed the lifetime expectations for the game generating any attention. Indeed, it seems likely my writing of this will more than double the chance of my playing it, and quite possibly triple it.
With it sitting on my bookshelf, under a shifted pile of other games (including the Genesis Collection, GTA 4 and Saint's Row 2, and Assassin's Creed), this game has a chance to do what Halo 3 did a week or so ago, that is get some play. Rather than just fire up another game, which will lend my feeling of generic blahs, I think I should directly access this game with my console. Indeed, this writing may motivate me into actually playing the entire campaign, which is an excellent achievment.
Pardon the odd structuring. I was just inspired by this post waxing on the brilliance of Halo Wars, and figure if I apply it to Guilty gear Overture, maybe it will get me to play it:

Anyhow, on another note, I kinda like the title. It says Herzog Zwei for me, but with Dynasty Warriors action mechanics. I should get back to it. Anyone else out there happen to try this? I feel it is a sleeper. Now it is around $40, it is worth looking into.
Besides, I found the thread I am inspired by, to be annoying, along with this feint expectations games that people are playing with titles that is: "Wow, it is awesome it blew away expectations." and "No it isn't, I hate your console and its games, therefore, I expected your game to sell 20 gajillion copies in the first 5 minutes, and it only sold 2 million in the first week, so YOUR GAME SUCKS! and is a FLOP!"
