It depends on the critical reception of Alan Wake. If it is a normal suspense/thriller then it has no chance. If critics begin to say it is a revolution in the genre, it could have a chance.
probably not though.
When were closer to Alan wakes release date the hype will shift in to top gear, if it gets good reviews i think it will sell 3 million+
Especially with microsofts advertising muscle behind it.
hey this game is made by remedy, it is going to sell like crazy. especially if it one of the only xbox 360 exclusives of the year.

Except that it's not exclusive. I too believe 360 version alone will be able to outsell Halo Wars, but I don't think it will "sell like crazy"

This is a terrible topic. These games aren't even semi-related or in the same genres. comparing their sales makes no sense whatsoever.

halo wars will out sell heavy rain easy :p

It's no worse than calling Mirror's Edge a 2009 PC exclusive since it released on consoles last year.
