Forums - General - Do You Believe that Extra-Terrestrials have Visited earth?

Do you believe that intelligent, non-human creatures from outer-space otherwise known as Aliens or extra-terrestrials have ever visited earth?  This question was prompted by a story on tonight's CBS' Evening News with Katie Couric in which it was said that NASA now suspects there is water on Mars which could indicate that there is also life on Mars.

Im always fascinated by extra terrestrails, i find it hard to belive earth has the only life in the universe.

i believe that there is no life outside this planet

the solomons are aliens!

NASA suspects that there is water on Mars so we can suspect that there's an alien civilization that we can suspect is so intelligent that they have built an entire civilization on a planet with no oxygen completely out of view of any our of probes. We can also suspect that this species is smart enough to travel to earth and be unseen, and that they would have no motivation to go other than to idly sift through earth, instead of say, sending a probe. There might be some incredibly basic organisms frozen in the ice, but they won't be alive anytime soon.

I suspect.

Third Rock was a good show imo so was Mork from Ork. I was surprised a few months ago when I was flipping through the tv channels and found a Mork from Ork marathon on the Sci-Fi Channel as I hadn't seen it in decades and I don't usually associate the Sci-Fi Channel with comedies. Another good alien comedy I haven't seen in awhile is Disney's The Cat from Outer Space which was released in the seventies. I remember the movie channel running it for three or four months straight in the early eighties, but I haven't heard anything about it since and I have no idea if The Cat from Outer Space has ever even been released on dvd.

Absolutely, we are their Disneyland

Who knows? Water and heat and light may be able to mix up into some other crazy life shit without carbon, oxygen, or DNA. I am absolutely certain that given the amount of planets and stars and space out there, there are more planets with life, and most likely even more planets with life similar to humans. And it might actually usually be that 2 planets in a row with similar amounts of sun both get similar life forms. But I doubt Mars has anything intelligent. It could have some basic cellular muck living in the water, or evidence that there used to be some cellular muck living in the water before it got too cold. Or nothing. Most likely nothing.

Rubang...I kno your from somewhere els

Yes. I uh, I come from the giant pink weener planet. I said it. Are you happy?
