Forums - PC - The temporary deals thread

Alright, so this a shot at trying to share temporary deals that can be found in the DD services. My idea is to update the first post with the still available deals, but the temporary ones, including cheaper pre-orders. There are a lot of Steam deals that are permanent so won't be included in the topic. Also, I will use dollars when I post deals that I see, because that's how I see in the services. But if you provide the price in euros or pound I'll add with no problem. And we won't discriminate low rated games.

You should also keep in mind that prices can vary between services (especially Steam), so unless you are well informed never rush when you see a deal.

And one last note, I'm regionally locked out by these services, so if you see that I'm not adding a certain deal, it's probably because I can't see it! (e.g. I wouldn't add the Bioshock deal if this topic existed when it was for $4.99)

So, for the April 20th week and following weekend:

GamersGate

  • Space Siege for $4.99, weekend deal
  • Hearts of Iron 2 Complete for $9.99

Direct2Drive

  • Some NA-only deals

Steam

  • Plants vs Zombies pre-sale for $9.99 + free Heavy Weapon Deluxe

Impulse

  • Nothing

GOG.com

So far that's it. Keep an eye on Impulse and Steam weekend deals.

if you're in for some more realistic WWII experience, RO is a no-brainer. and of course, it requires more teamwork to win too.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I don't have any money to spend on gaming right now. Gotta get ready to go in the Air Force.

Impulse has Cellblock Squadron for that cheap. If anyone wants a good space fighter game get that. Its awesome. Wish it was on Steam.

I hope all of these discounts means that GG is going to do some price adjusting later on. Some of their stuff is outrageously priced, such as the europa universalis expansions. I mean, why buy the one I don't have for 20$, when I could buy EU: complete for 30$?

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

alright, topic updated, I'm thinking about getting Aquaria. what are the problems with D2D? they say that Aquaria is DRM-free, I always thought D2D games had some kind of Steam-like DRM, or the download limitations such as EA has (your download may not be there in the future)

ok, if you wanna spend money today or this weekend, there are plenty of deals already and we don't even know Steam's weekend deal yet.

The Dawn of War pack is extremely cheap as far as I know, even if it does not include Soulstorm.
