Yep Yep monster hunter had been a huge success on the PSP. I wish it was more widespread on the ps2 as I believe they played best with Analogue. A lot of people however did prefer square and triangle for attacks so if they do have a new one enable the option.

Alot of people jumped on the bandwagon during the psp versions so i think if it was released now for ps3 it would have some pretty good sales. Also capcom even had to formally apologize to a lot of people who bought the system based on capcoms announcement that it was ps3 exclusive. That's a lot of people already wanting the game in japan at least. I will definitely import a copy if it's no NA version is annouced

Hasn't the next PSP version already been announced? If not, then its likely to be that - as its distinct from the Wii version.

They confirmed it a couple of weeks ago, but they didn't officially announce it. I don't think this is a PSP game though, any such announcement before the release of Monster Hunter Tri would be ill advised.

I'm not sure, we always find out about games being developed and we know about it for months then it gets an "official" announcement. So wither or not the psp was officially announced no clue, but i think it was.....

which gives me more hope for a ps3 version.....hell and i wouldn't mind a 360 version either as long as ps3 is the main development platform.

Okay, some news from the event:

4月23日発売予定のWii用ソフト『モンスターハンターG』のオンラインプレイ料金が発表になった。オンラインで遊ぶには“ハンティングチケット”を購 入する必要があり、料金はWiiポイントで支払うことになる。30日800Wiiポイント、60日1500Wiiポイント、90日2000Wiiポイント の3コースで、14 日間無料お試しキャンペーンも行われる。

Basically Capcom have revealed online pricing for Monster Hunter G (Wii) - 30 days will cost 800 points, 60 1500, and 90 2000 points.

There will also be free 14-day trial.

Yeah for the online in Japan it cost a monthly fee, however the NA versions of the game online was free. I'm hoping it remains free, but I need my monster hunter fix. And if anyone has played monster hunter they will know that only about 1/8 of the game is single player.
