is today some sort of game announcement day.. already three other games announced and this one make 4 games in last 24 hrs being announced.

they even bite the bullet for HD for will confirm another PSP monster hunter.

and its more likely the later.

Not sure it's a new PSP Monster Hunter, any announcement before the release of MH Tri would destroy Wii game's performance. Surely Capcom don't want to cannibalise their own sales?

This is Capcom we're talking about, don't get your hopes up. A PSP version of MH3 would require too much effort for them considering that the source material isn't complete yet.

It's probably just MH2 following MHG's footsteps on the Wii. I would not put it past them to do it.

...that or Monster Hunter DS. Though I think they'd have cashed in on the DS audience by now if they wanted to.

Maybe PS3? Dear God I would die of happiness if this happens. But probably not.

Which reminds me I have to by a Wii once MH3 comes around. Then I can pick up some great games I did miss out on. I can pick up Nintendo published games 2nd hand cause I wont feel bad since they sell so well. But I'm buying my 3rd party games new so they can have my support.

What Wii RPG's can you recommend to me? I like every type of RPG btw.

Please god PLEASE let it be a monster hunter title for ps3! When monster hunter 3 was announced first for ps3, they had been developing it for quite a while. Then scraped it 1/4 - 1/2 leaving tons of code just to rot away.

Then the announced it was a Wii exlusive because ps3 development costs were too high. I have no clue, but maybe cost went down a little bit or something and they already had some stuff to work on the decided to pick it up again.....Rename it something other then tri if it has to be "exclusive"

If it's a game for psp or PC and actually comes to NA then I'll be a happy little boy as well, just not jumping with glee. Seriously I am a huge monster hunter fan and to me, when MH3 got announced it was now only a wii exclusive that was my biggest upset in gaming. I shit a brick when i heard that news....

I'm with you on this one. Maybe Monster Hunter on the PSP have given enough cash & hope to Capcom that the PS brand can sell Monster Hunter, even on the PS3.
