Raidou's back for another adventure on the PlayStation 2. And our editor, James Clark, claims that this direct sequel to Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army is better than the original in every way possible. And yet, the game was created for the on-its-last-legs PlayStation 2.Atlus USA has plans to release Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon in May of this year. Note that this is the Japanese import review. I'm betting the localization won't effect the quality much... this is Atlus afterall.

Yeah, I saw it. Great score, too bad I didn't like the first one very much

I still have my doubts. I didn't care much for the first one on PS2, but for $10 I couldn't complain.

I canceled my pre-order but watch the Doll sell for like $40 on eBay, then I'll regret it since that would pay for the game.

Great review. Definitely looks like an improvement over the first one. I'm glad they finally put an evade command. That's something I wanted in the first one. I hope the story is good.
