I'm puzzled. The same development teams on either side of the spectrum turn out very different quality sports games.

2k's baseball game sucks compared to Sony's offering, while Sony's basketball game sucks compared to 2k's offering.

Why is it that these guys can't make good games for 2 different sports at the same time?

I think its because 2K sports in their basketball game try to make it look EXACTLY like an nba game broadcasted on tv. I love the 2K basketball series because it looks so beautiful and is realistic. I just wish they would make a better create-a-team option.

The opposite is true with MLB: The Show. They have the controls and presentation down perfect, and the franchise mode is REALLY REALLY deep. 2K baseball feels clunkier and not as polished.

Fact: Earthbound is the greatest game ever made
