Let's gather our collective gaming wisdom and knowledge in this very thread.
I'll start..
- Never hype upcoming videogames to your real life friends. If the game sucks, you end up looking like an idiot!
In other words: Let them handle their own purchasing decisions.
- Never buy your nongamer girlfriend a pc game present, even if it's The Sims. If she's dislike videogames, she dislike videogames.
- Backup your save games from time to time. Replaying through pc games all over again just so that you can finish the last level, can be a time wasting bitter experience.
- Mega Man 2. See that hard to reach E-Tank over there by the spikes?
..It's worth it!
