I would had some RPG's in the middle (maybe Chrono's, FFVI, Persona...), but overal I agree with the list.

Sorry, didnt read that part. Anyway, you just shouldnt call it top 8 games of all time and only choose the ones u have played, even if more than 200 hours.

Then you shouldnt have called it the best 8 games of all time, you should have said its your favorites.
And for the record, I also played all of the games on your list, except metroid prime( I just played the wii one), and they sure wouldnt make it to my list, thats how opinions work. But I was to do a more objective one, then I would add a few of the games you listed.

You can't make a list like that objectively. Take that list for what it is: RolStoppable top 8 games of all time. You can post your own list and no one will question your selection (unless you include objective crap like ET or Superman 64).

Too new and too unoriginal for an "of all time" list.
I need to replace Mario with Usain Bolt before I can play Paper Mario once again.
A top 8 like this one for me would include Tactical Ops: Assault on Terror (1200hrs clocked in Xfire), Civ4 plus BTS (all because of FFH2, also more than 200 hours clocked in Xfire). the rest is unknown but would probably include games like Civilization 2, SimCity 3000, Elifoot 98 and games from my SNES and N64 collection, and maybe Winning Eleven 2002.

Why the obsession with Top 8 lists nowadays. What went wrong with Top 10? And where is Brawl on the list? I thought you have been playing it non-stop and that's why you no longer play the Mario Kart GPs. Or are you just afraid of me?
