When the original BioShock released, its hulking Big Daddies permeated our dreams. In the upcoming BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams, it appears Big Sisters will do the same.

Sources tell Kotaku that these Big Sisters will be "amazonian version[s] of the Big Daddy, wearing similar, though svelter, gear."

These female foes are said to be faster and sleeker than Big Daddies. We assume that, if this rumor holds true, Big Sisters won't replace Big Daddies, but rather complement them.

After snooping around on BioShock 2 teaser site 'There's Something in the Sea,' we've discovered that creatures with an "unusually long stride" that "do not resemble and civilian or military" personnel have been scuttling about on beaches bordering the Atlantic. Could these be Big Sisters?

Well we have to assume that several years has passed from bioshock 1. Atleast that's the impression you get.
