Finally, there are at least five more AAA games to add to the PS3's total. Ninja Gaiden Sigma on the PS3 was the original Xbox's Ninja Gaiden perfected while Ninja Gaiden 2 on the 360 was one of 2008's biggest disappointments. In his review of Valkyrie Chronicle in Play Magazine's Play Japan section prior to its release in the US last year, Nick Des Barres said VC was living proof that the heart of the Dreamcast era still beat in Sega's Japanese HQ. VC is AAA. Nick also wrote about Kenshan! in Play's Play Asia section and said that Kenshan! was neck and neck with MGS 4 as the best mature game to be released so far this gen. Furthermore in Play's 2008 Year in Review issue that Kenshan! was the number Japanese game that wasn't released outside of Japan last year. Like VC, Kenshan! is AAA. AAA means game quality. And then we have Yakuza 3. Almost 400,000 units sold in Japan in week 1. The Japanese don't buy that many copies of a game in week 1 unless it is AAA.
Heavens to Murgatoids.
