Forums - Gaming - Inverted Y axis

Yes, always. Until the Wii. Lack of an option to invert the y axis == a returned game for me.

I'm with most everybody else on this. I hate the inverted Y axis on FPS. Doesn't make sense to me.

On flight sims and the like, it's gotta be inverted, though.

i use inverted aim i think its just more natural or something.....

Yeah this is actually bugging me in warhawk atm.

In flight mode the left stick controls your pitch and roll, and the right pitch (again) and yaw.

my issue is you can invert both, but not one singularly. I like the right stick to aim up when I move the stick up, like in an fps, and use the left one to fly with. It messes with my head when its the "wrong" way round.

YES

I always invert the y axis, no matter the game.

In FPS and flying games..always.

Not sure why but I got used to it that way.

PS360 ftw!

Currently playing..........

Gears of War 2, GTA IV Lost and Damned, Little Big Planet (Yes I said I had no interest but my girl wanted to try it and we did and now Im hooked )

When I move up, it means I want to look up, not down. I do not have down syndrome, nor am I in a plane.

Inverted as in pull your controller up and the plane goes up? because thats not right at all.. so if thats what your meaning then dont, its not correct shooter/flying game elements, even in real life you put the wheel in a plan towards you (up) the plane goes down.

Uh, no. If you pull the wheel toward you in a plane, it goes up. In fighter jets, if you pull the stick back, it goes up. The controls are inverted.
