ok i have been one of the biggest POP:SOT fans and liked the other 2 last gen on my XBOX.
I was watching Reviews on the Run on TV(last thursday) and the guy(victor Lucas?)had a ver good point.
he said that he couldn't tell if this was Prince of Persia or Prince of San diego.
now on to my mini review:
I got Prince of Persia when it came out and have played 60% of the game.(the cons and pros are comapred to older POP games and not any other game)
On to the Positives
the game art style is very good ,unique and pretty.

Replayablity is improved due to trophies and light seeds?
on to the negative:
the biggest flaw of this game is that it doesn't feel like POP at all.The music is out of something like mask of zorro and not middle eastern themed like the previous installments.
The prince character is a joke compared to SOT.his dialouges are cheesy and supposedly funny ,,,it's not that bad but it DOES NOT FEEL LIKE PRINCE OF PERSIA .
the environment is not persian/middle eastern themed but i guess since they changed art style it should ahve been expected?
the fighting mechanism is stiff as hell and not fluid like SOT and the other 2.
Conclusion
All in all i think Assasin's creed has ruined prince of persia franchise.why?they changed every thing with POP so that people can distinguish POP from Assassin's creed.
Instead of one awesome games UBI soft has 2 ok games(very pretty games but not so much fun)
So prince of San diego is the right name for the new prince of persia.
