I wondered, has anyone noticed that all top graphics 360 games are between 2-4 player coop on the same console?
People go on about PS3 graphics, but compare games which should look alot better.
Halo 3 was coop for 4 player splitscreen, yet people complained the graphics werent that amazing.
Gears of War 2 is coop 2 player split screen.
People compare the likes of MGS4, Uncharted and Killzone 2 which are all single player only games on one console.
Now either these PS3 games would look worse if they had split screen campaign same console, or Halo 3 and Gearas of War 2 would look much better if they were single player only.
People forget things like this and play the whole put another console down tune.
It's sad and pathetic. I look forward to seeing single player only games on 360 like Alan Wake, Mass Effect 2, Splinter Cell Conviction for decent devs to show what the 360 is capable of without Coop needing engine.

Or maybe we can reserve adjectives like "sad and pathetic" for more important things in life, and simply compare 1-player game mode with 1-player game mode and 2-player coop mode with 2-player coop mode.
If a game hasn't a coop mode, you are entitled to rant about it. But it's not like the developers of Halo 3 or Gears 2 not developing their engine enough to top KZ2's graphics in single player mode is any way less concrete than KZ2 degrading visually under their level in coop mode, if it had one.
On the contrary I'd say that the first is an objective fact that happened in the real world, whereas the latter is only your speculation taking place, well, somewhere else.
I too look forward to playing Alan Wake and ME2 on my PC, talking of which multiplatform titles like these are probably not the best place to look for real hardware straining efforts.
