Considering that the Wii also dropped this week, and that there tends to be some measure of correlation between the consoles, I would actually surmise that the 360 would have dropped in any case, and that the boost from KZ2/Y3 was bigger than most people think.

So in the week of YAKUZA 3 and KILLZONE 2 the PS3 sells 12.000 more unites than the XBOX360.
I guess we all should bow and say WOWWWWWWWWW

Anyways, next week everything should be back to normal, ah! BTW, the XBOX360 has a price drop!

Yep I will give you that! But to be honest it didn't move nothing special.... The numbers speak for themselves:
-750.000 KZ2 sold
-199,728 PS3 sold
Last week PS3 sold 155,482
So are we saying that KZ2 moved 45.000 units? Is that so good to grab about? And in the same week of YAKUZA 3?
Other PS3 titles sold better and move more consoles than KZ2. For me MGS4 was (IS?) the title that forced more PS3's to be sold. Just analyze the sales during the MGS4 hype weeks.

The other consoles dropped this week, so its reasonable to assume that the PS3 would also have dropped, were it not for KZ2. I would venture a guess that KZ2 moved closer to 60K PS3s. if KZ2 continues to move PS3s, at 8% of its sales, and it eventually hits the 3 million mark, that means it would have move 240,000 consoles. That's pretty dang good for a single title. Not the stellar numbers that MGS4 seemed to put up, but still pretty good.
And that really cool dragon PS3 Y3 bundle would sell consoles, even if the game wasn't awesome, which I hear it is.

That's a good way to analize things, in the long run!

it was good for one week and thats it....next week things will be back to normal.....usually 50% of sale1 are done day one of the first week but, none the less congrats ps3 owners. i would be happy if i was a sony fan
