oh, burn to the max. That's alright, Soul Calibur is just a fighting game for people that like to mash buttons. 
I don't know, tekken has a lot more philosophy to its fighting. I mean, when was the last time that a different fighting game had not only a boxer, but kickboxers, karate people, trick characters ( Gon, Yoshimitsu, Dr. B), power characters, chick martial artists, and the coolest martial art of all caoperia?
