Forums - Sony - The KZ2 Ending. (Spoilers)

Wonder will we see on KZ3 other types of Helghast..Maybe they don't wear anymore that uniform and turn out they were chained and had 100kg weight all over their body to keep them under control.

Take my love, take my land..

so there will be a third game?.

Does a game need to have an open ending to receive a sequal? Would it have been more logical to kill of the series? Even with 2 million (wathever) preorders?

I don't get this at all.

OT, yeah I thought it was weird how there were still Helghast soldiers left and they weren't there to defend their emperor but then again Visari alluded to some Helghast still existing when he talked about chaos succeding his death.

"Dr. Tenma, according to you, lives are equal. That's why I live today. But you must have realised it by now...the only thing people are equal in is death"---Johann Liebert (MONSTER)

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

Maybe they were hiding under ground.

Gears of Killzone confirmed?

Incoming spoiler alert:

It was surprising what happened to Visari, that was somewhat bold. But now as he stated without him there will be no order. (the order that existed in the defense of the capital.) The order will become madness.
Visari controlled the fight, but now all of the helghast are out for revenge , and no leader can tell them what to do.

they may no longer have a rational purpose in fighting.
As he said madness begins.

and of course there will be a Killzone 3, probably as early as Christmas 2010, since the engine is up and running, the series can become a money machine.

No it will not take place underground like gears.. yuk! it is somewhat obvious alot of it will be space oriented and the helghast probably have tons of huge ships that Sev gets to board, as well as new planets the helghast control/are invading.

and no I do not think one more game will wrap up this series. KZ4 will be at PS4 launch imo. And I will be there to buy it.

also what a great soundtrack. It is no gregorian chant, but still great.

the story was ok till the end.. then it got really frustrating . visaris speech was quite interesting and it all made some kind of sense ..

having your stereotypical mentally, instable black guy do something like that is not only anticlimatic ..its frustrating to the point where it seems like guerilla is laughing at the player and giving him the finger with this.. it was quite unexpected to say the least.. but i guess visari already knew what a unstable prick he was so he provoked him to make him do what isa high command wanted to prevent

as for the helghan fleet well we saw a few spacecraft in the intro getting destryoed but that was a little too low resistance i suppose they kept the rest of the armada hidden to wait till isa is entangled in ground battles.. so they can retake the planets orbit to trap the isa on ground where they are slowly being worn down by the helghast

You guys don't see this? Visari was a figure head! The real leader behind everything planned this all. Most of the ISA's force was destroyed in the blast. They launch ships. . . They are envious of their home world. Now If I am not mistaken they attacked a colony in the first game right? I think they are gunning for the ISA's home planet. They have had their beady glowing red eyes locked on it for quite some time. In war, you burn your own buildings when leaving, this is done so the enemy cannot be safe from the elements. They are attempting to delay the forces that are left there from making it back in time to defend their home world.

I guess if they did that. It wouldn't be a Killzone 3.

well its not really "their" homeworld.. it used to belong to the helghan thats what killzone 1 was all aboot..its in the part of the backstory that you can only access through killzone.com

but interesting idea..theres just the problem that vekta has a now funtional interplanetary defense system.. and they probably couldnt find another isa general to turn into a spy

Yes, but generally when you fight a war and you are invading, you send most of what you have at them right? So most of the ISA forces are tied up there. Would be easier to aim for the main planet now then ever before.
