Any other quasi-otaku (as in, those who enjoy good anime, but aren't totally dedicated to its acquisition and celebration) like myself extraordinarily frustrated by the lack of dubbed anime on American television? Toonami's gone, and all Adult Swim is up to anymore is Bleach and Code Geass R2. They aren't even regularly showing Naruto anymore.

I mean, original Japanese One Piece is infinitely more awesome simply because dub issues brought it down (although the later Funimation dub was basically the same thing, just without the swearing, but the 4Kids was trash), but i would certainly enjoy continuing to watch the Funimation dub every week

There is certainly a demand for anime in America, but there are basically three series running on Cartoon Network, and nobody else makes an effort to run series regularly (SciFi channel has Ani-Mondays, but it's not enough)

Anyone else think it would be nice to get more Anime on American TV?

Hey i'd be for more anime on cartoon network if it'd mean getting rid of Tim and Eric and a lot of the other crap they had on there.

It's a pain to find good internet anime sites and even if i do that means i can't do two things at once.

as for yuor comment on Naruto, it is because of Naruto Shuppiden coming to America and the fact its only at like ep 98. The original Naruto is over with in America.

Also Code geass is awesome.

Check Sci-Fi for Gundam 00 and a few other animes.

Imagine if they showed current japanese anime over on a special channel with englsih subs. I pay to get that :D

No it's still going.  On right now they're running around trying to get captain mc emo back again even though he doesn't want to come back.

Also Naruto developed the most powerful ultimate attack ever but can't use it because it hurts himself as well!

Ignoring the fact that his speciality is making copys of himself that can do everything he can do just to take the hits.

So he should just be able to make a clone to use the special super attack and everything was fine.  Because well he did already do that once already... but everyone is being stupid for plot convience.

Fights are entertaining though.

Actually anything that negatively affects a clone affects the main user sightly. Naruto isnt affected as bad as he makes thousands of clones at once.

Naruto is on EVERY Saturday at like 9:30 pm eastern. I o wish they would show more on CN though.

For all intents and purposes, yeah, but technically its running through the very end of the filler eps, the last of those arcs with the "Ninja Dropouts" or Shinobazu. Next arc is the last of the non-filler, that comes right before the time-skip. Cartoon Network has not said whether or not they will do Shippuuden at all, and the way they're basically hiding Naruto right now, its doubtful that they will

Huh I suppose that's what reading the manga gets you?

The show just makes it look like they're tired from making so many copies.

ya, I cant wait for that important part in the manga finally appears in the anime, hopefully it happens in the next 30 eps and we dont get heavy filler BS.
