The fact is that they're not really providing a service, they just turn around and grab it. The guy behind the register at McDonalds supplies more service, but we don't tip him. In the end, It's just something we're expected to do when we really shouldn't be. And if you're tipping to get better drinks, ok. But if you think thats a legitimate system, it isn't If they're not giving you the alchohol you payed for because you didn't bribe them to. That's not even legal. |
Depends on the person and location. I was talking to this hot girl that was at my friends bar. She was telling me she makes 300-400 dollars in a night (Tuesdays and thursdays). My friend is lucky to make half that(dude obviously) on a friday/sat. Girl tenders are going to make more in tips cause of pervs that want to get with them. Guys just get tips as a courtesy and are hardly what the girls get.
