I don't see no reason to continue this series.
It has sold very well in Japan,America and others.One of few games that has worldwide appeal.

Each entry to the series was selling worst than the previous, so I guess it'll be a while before they visit it again.

Same here, its one of my favorite series. I hope they'll make it wit co-op as they did with Dawn of Dreams.

History tells us that the series will be GREAT! again with the next instalment.
If you liked the combat in Onimusha you should give Shadow of Rome and Dead Rising a chance. They definitely feel like spiritual successors as far as gameplay goes.
