I wrote a paper on videogames roughly a month ago. It was a course on ethics and we where asked to write about anything that showed different layers in ethical thoughts.

I took audio-visual media. I would have chosen games outright but it was a joint assignment and my (female) friend was not that much of a gamer. She got movies though which was still interesing.

I doubt you guys would like to read the paper though, as it is not so much about games (apart from the briefly mentioned Mario and Gears of War I believe) but more about the developer trying to appease his fans, the publishers, the masses (e.g. your worried dad) and in cases the politics.

I had the opportunity to do a paper on survival horror games in my horror and fantasy unit, but chose something else
