Or playing games.

Figured you would go there. Considering that I still can't get Beyond the Sword to load on by laptop, and I can get 360 games to load for me, at least POOR games are better than NO games. And at least POOR gaming is more enjoyable than reading your posts.
So your argument is that because you have a crappy PC that a PC game that probably is poorly programmed isnt good on that platform but it runs well on consoles.
You do realize there are some major flaws in that argument.
Get a good computer, Beyond the Sword is Beyond what your PC can handle.

My computer handles EVERY other part of Civ 4, and runs it great. Beyond the Sword won't LOAD. Do you understand that? Why shouldn't I expect an expansion for a game I have to work?
So, I am supposed to drop $1000 just to be able to play games?
And my comment here isn't that the program was coded poorly. It is that the platform for the PC is not consistent, which results in the inability to trust code working on one's machine. Even using a demo is no guarantee either. I ran the PC demo for Galactrix and it worked. What happened with the commercial product is that
And, you SERIOUSLY are calling games designed by Firaxis "poorly programmed"? Are you SERIOUSLY saying that? Sid Meier's team is a bunch of hacks? REALLY?
Please read what you wrote. You said to...
1. Get a good computer because
2. An EXPANSION to a game that works great on my laptop is "too much for my PC to handle"
Tell me where that is not flawed.

Ok, so system requerements are the same. BUT there are some factors that affect any game and game expansion. DRIVERS.
Have you updated your DirectX drivers?
How about GPU Drivers?

What do the specs have to do with the EXPANSION not loading? It doesn't load. It crashes. It is because of SecuROM and my machine having problems with it. The other versions don't have this. I am about up to HERE fed up with the entire thing.
Note also, that the specs between the expansion and Civ 4 are the same.
i can play this game too!
Orange box is proof that PC gaming is better then console gaming!
see how easy that was?
There is just so much wrong with how you are arguing your case about this but ill let the knowledgable ssj continue the rebuttals ;)
Bet With routsounmanman: By the end of Q1 2008 Capcom WONT have announced a RE5 Wii Edition OR a new RE (classic gameplay) for the Wii (WON)

Man, I hope not. Not sure how many times I have to explain that an expansion to Civ 4 working, while Civ 4 does, is no proof that my laptop doesn't have the specs to handle the expansion.
if you want to get into the game as to WHY, you need to state why the Orange Box is superior on the PC. At least it worked on my 360.
In regards to the comment about this being a joke thread, I had the sliver of hope it could end that way, but now the capabilities of my laptop are called into question due to SecuROM, and I have to keep explaining this. So, I guess YES this is now officially a joke thread.

Yet you are still reading them.
My last XBox360 game was Fable 2 - i had bugs, freezes and a corrupt savegame. Not even mentioning the poor and laughable gameplay and difficulty.
My first (and last) NDS game was The Settlers - that game is nearly unplayable, studdering, crashing.
Console games get worse and worse.
