Forums - Gaming - Anyone here just play vintage games/consoles?

Just curious to see if we have any antique-only gamers here, i.e. 2600, 1st-5th gen, etc?

Yeah, BHR I have a NES, SNES, Genesis, from the 80s and 90s and the NES (Super Mario Bros. and sometimes Duck Hunt) is all my sister will play in terms of video games. I sometimes get those out when I go back home on college breaks.

Found out of old Master System, Mega Drive and SNES recently - have played Sonic 2 (I died on the final boss, my skillz have decreased it seems) and a few other awesome games

I bought them both during the SNES/Genesis era, used them for a bit then my parents garaged them - I found them last month and they worked perfectly - they don't make consoles like they used to

Note: I don't have the add-ons, that was just the only picture of the PAL SMD I could find

Really vintage, no, but I prefer to buy games at least one or two years old, to pay them less, to get them better debugged and to be able to play them on a PC less expensive than an Aston Martin and less power-hungry than an oven.
In the past I played old Intellivision games every now and then.
Right now I'm playing Planescape Torment, not already vintage, but quite old anyway.
