Hey Sharky, I like some of the melodic speed metal stuff, but I absolutely loath the death growl stuff. What are some bands that fit my liking?

if you want heavy with amazing lead guitars i suggest the Melodic Death Metal band Children of Bodom.

I love Children of Bodom! I have heard just a few songs though.

Power Metal is 7 kinds of win, but I have an open mind.

Hmm I have to remember this band. Its a great power speed metal band. both of you would like them. Umm Serenity. First song I suggest you listen to by them is 'Rust of Coming Ages"

 

Helloween is a great older Powermetal band. Hmm anbother old school melo Speed band is . . .

Cool, thanks.  I love listening to new stuff(new to me).  Hopefully Zune Marketplace has them.

Sharky, do you like Blind Guardian? I think they're one of the few bands that keep their quality consistently on every album (and yes I've heard every song they ever made)
