It's definitely hard for newcomers seeing as half of the fighting systems aren't explained in the game and you will need to look online to actually find out how to utilise them (FADC and the like).

Yeah, that´s what I´ve been reading on different gaming forums...he doesn´t even 'look like a SF boss', he looks like he´d fit in nicely in a SNK game.

This works on easiest, but on medium it only works if you jump over an attack and hit him during his recovery. If you jump at him while he isn't recovering, he will instantly dragon punch you out of the air.

And yes, I do think that when comparing on medium difficulty settings, this is the hardest Street Fighter game I've played. It's not bad until you reach your rival, but that fight and Seth are both difficult. (Particularly if your rival is Sagat.) Easiest difficulty is pretty trivial though.
