Forums - Gaming - Does anyone find Street Fighter 4 kinda hard?

I got SF4 for my PS3 a couple of days ago and I´m completely sucking in this game, even on medium difficulty (the last boss, Seth, is a cheap son of a bitch)....me sucking at this game aside, I´m finding the CPU far more 'cheap' and challenging than past SFs I played (granted, the last one I had played before SF4 was like, 5 years ago).

For example, I was fighting Sagat earlier on medium, and he was like, the Sagat from SF2 on the hardest difficulty.

Anyway, what are you thinking about the game so far?...Are you as terrible as I am in this game? >_>

the first time i played through it with Zangief it was a breze..... with other charecter i had a bit of trouble "HOROSHAYA POBEDA!"

If it's too hard then lower the difficulty.

I realize that, Okey, it´s just I was surprised at how hard medium has been for me, and I used to be king in this game back on the SNES.

Also, I´m having trouble pulling off a lot of moves on the d-pad, while on the SNES I did it as if it was second nature.

Anyway, yeah I´m pretty rusted, it´s just the CPU seems far more agressive on medium than what I expected.

Seth is not hard if you use this simple strategy: jump kick then sweep. You may mess up sometimes but it works at least on easiest. I unlocked all the characters with that simple strategy...even seth himself

i was looking in the moves... what does analog left (charge) mean? is that fast running or u just hold the button longer?

@Pristine

Thanks for the tip....have you also found the game harder than you thought it´d be, even considering a possible 'rusted in SF games' scenario?

@ant

I think you have to hold the button longer.

nope. ever since i beat the hardest difficulty mode i never went below that difficulty.

its a bit frustrating cuz the CPU are really cheap in hardest level but its all good. No pain no gain.

Not really. Seth's difficulty is just broken. I can beat computer on hard modes in versus even seth. When you get him, you'll realize that he has the weakest ultra and lowest damage resistance (even lower than akuma) so he's not that awesome. The computer just cheats which you should be used to if you've been playing SF games especially in the snes era.
