Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
Interesting. Is it a little early for a teaser? Or is this coming this year now? I know, I know . . . wishful thinking.
I personally thought it would be really cool if they did sort of a reverse MGS2 approach and had you create and play as a new character for the first ... 20-40% of the game and then end up joining up with Shepherd (level 60 Shep, of course) and have him be the main character at that point with your new character being an important crewmember from then on. Or dying even! It would give a new perspective to the ME universe and then make the return of your original character an important and powerful moment.
I also think this game needs roman numerals. I know, I know, what's the big deal. No big deal, but roman numerals tend to make a sequel title look more ... epic to me. Mass Effect 2 versus Mass Effect II . Oh well.

I'm waiting for this game like almost for no other. I wonder what kind of plot twists we'll be getting with this game.
If i lose access to this profile as well....I'm done with this site.....You've been warned!!.....whoever you are...
Happy Wii60 user. Me and my family are a perfect example of where hardcore meets casual and together mutate into something awesome.
No platform mentioned?
What do people think about its likely release date? Dec 09 too optimistic?

Sometime between december 09 and march 10.
I think they will psuh for holiday '09, since this is a sequel, and it would be a serious stocking stuffer.
Too bad they won't allow you to transfer your characters stats from the first game...instead they just kill them all off.
Thanks multiplatform Mass Effect.
Actually Bioware said on their forums this week to hold onto your game saves. So they will be used.
I would be surprised if this does not hit in December
