As a social networking tool for users facebook is far better.

But myspace is far better for artists etc

Neither. Social networking sites are pointless timewasters.

MySpace, because everybody I know is on it and it's how I keep in touch with my friends back home and advertise for shows when my band's all in town at the same time. I also like how it will let me use a fake name and change it all the time, while FaceBook wants my real name so real losers can track me down.

Facebook

I used to use Myspace until I tried Facebook and realised that it beats myspace in every way.

Being that I'm a college hipster, Facebook is the obvious choice for me. And being that I'm not in middle school or a middle aged woman, Myspace is obviously not the choice for me. Nearly everyone I know uses Facebook and the only real advantage Myspace has is decoration. I'm not interested in making my profile pink and being a narcissist, so I prefer Facebook.
