Street Fighter IV was one of the main reasons I wanted to get a PS3, until I found out it was coming to PC.  Probably old news, but I just now heard about it.

Are you going to get SFIV for the PC or PS3?  I know it would probably be easier playing local multiplayer on a TV with PS3, but with two XBOX360 controllers and an LCD TV, you could do the same thing on PC.  In fact, if I get the game, I would probably re-arrange my room so the PC could hook into the TV.

PC port of SFIV will not be out until quite a bit later this year (they haven't even announced a release date yet I think).  Right now the only way to play it is on a PS3/XBox360.

P.S. - If you do get it on a PC, don't get two XBox controllers for it, they are supposed to be horrible for this type of game due to the inaccurate D Pad design.  What you want are arcade sticks.

I know the game doesn't come out for a while. Doesn't bother me.
If the meantime, I guess I need to find some better controllers.

Yeah, there are much better controllers for the PC than the 360 pad for fighting games.

Why buy an arcade stick?

Buy a whole cabinet :) SF IV, plus 10,000 other arcade games on one machine.

I'm not sure how the buttons are used in SFIV. But I already have one SNES pad to USB connector. I could get another one and hook two SNES pads in my computer.

Up until the start of this week I was still hoping it'd be released today on PC.

I find the classic controller handles fighting games pretty well, wiimote and nunchuk isn't too shabby either but i prefer dpad to analog. Bluetooth adapter for ~£5, connect wiimote to PC, plug in classic controller and away you go.

If someone writes a script to let me motion the hadukens with wiimote I'll be a very happy man.

Oh yea, snes pads... i feel like i am a kid again. lol. Thats a nice set up you have in mind. that will work fine.
