I think what Words was getting at is that if Europeans have such an issue with getting RPGs late, maybe a one language solution, while not realistically possible, is a good way to get those games out sooner, since the problem seems to be localizing the games into so many languages in the first place. If everyone was speaking one language then the localization process wouldn't be so gruesome and the games would likely get there faster.

not adopt it, but I can't understand why certain European countries MUST have dubbed things.

It's just as easy to have English (means that US release = European release).  Perhaps a sub could be given, but that shouldn't take nearly as long as a dub I think.

Just put it on the shelves with the US version and those who want to play it with subs or dubs... provide a patch or let those dudes wait...

I'll go with Jap with English sub, or plain English.  Suits me just fine.
