Thus far many first and second party games have been revealed for the PS3 and some more are abviously to come, the one I would bet my chocolate on would be a new Insomniac game.

GT5

MAG

Uncharted 2

Bound to be announced:

Team ICO's next attempt at making something decent

New Insomniac game

Something from one of the UK studios

So of those which do you think will make a 2009 release date? GT5, whatever the UK studios are doing and MAG as well as Team ICO's trash all 2010 for me, the rest for 2009 would be my guess.

GT5-maybe, but I'm guessing the announcement that GT5 will release will be in an out of the blue type of way if it is released this year.
GOW3-Most likely, the game already seems to be coming along and the GOW developers are pretty good with game releases
Heavy Rain-Better chance at releasing this year then next year, but not by much.

MAG is an unknown, but I doubt it will release this year considering it hasn't been shown off much.

Based on their track record I'd say you're right about Insomniac as they will likely complete the next Ratchet and Clank game this year.

Besides that I would be perfectly happy with the lineup that's been announced.

I'm just hoping that GT5 will make it before Christmas 09. And I wouldn't mind GOW 3 releasing around March 2010.

GT5 is the main one for me, it was the reason I forked £425 over but it has yet to release which is fustrating to say the least. It is a huge game so can release whenever it wants and it will stomp all over the competition but Sony will want to release it at a time it has all the limelight. If between now and E3 we not no new info then a spring 2010 release for that one.

Also I change my mind about GOW III, March 2010 for that one.

These dates are according to Gamestop.com but their dates are constantly changing.

I understand if their games just aren't the types of games you like..but calling them trash, their 'next attempt at making something decent'?  i...cant respect your views anymore=/  A lot of people would disagree...I don't think they're godly games like some, but they have an identity that no other game shares.  I enjoy them for their originality.

dont forget WKC makes it to the US this year.

I HOPE that GT5 arrives in the year 2009 and not fiscal year 2009 (actually 2010)
