E3 is returning to its former glory this year and with it comes a larger turn out and statements about 'breaking the bank.'

So what do you guys think will happen? I'm going to compile the most popular predictions below for each company and come back to this thread on June 5th to see how right or wrong we were.

I'll be back in 10 or so hours to check out what the most popular predictions are.. Microsoft fans are we gonna see rare or lionhead projects? is Alan Wake going to get a release date? Nintendo fans will Nintendo bring the trifecta of Kid Icarus, Pikmin 3 and Zelda? Will they surprise everyone with another peripheral? Will a Wii Series game be the main event?

What I expect:
Microsoft- Maybe announce how former PS3 exclusive Way of the Samurai 3 is now on 360 or reveal something else. Some hardware updates as well maybe.
Nintendo- Showing off their successful sales and talking about how Wii Sports Resort will be. MAYBE they will talk about Punch-Out! and/or something they didn't release info on already.
Sony- A few release dates like that of God of War III and Gran Turismo 5. Not sure what else.

Nintendo will announce some stuff coming from Retro studios and monster games, and one or two internal studios at nintendo.

Maybe they will talk about the Sakurai project.

Maybe they will talk about the Renegade Kid game.

Maybe they will talk about previously unannounced third-party games.



"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

Nintendo -I expect Four new announced tiitles for nintendo from 1st and 2nd party for the wii and a couple fo the DSi/DS

Expect alot more attention for core games and nice amount for the DSi

Several third parties will show several nintendo exclusive games

Playable demo of Monster Hunter 3,Final Build demo of the Conduit and other games


Sony- unveil hidden first party games and demos and release dates for God of War 3 , Grand Turismo and Uncharted 2. Talk about better Home Intergration with future games

A few third party exclusives will be announced and shown.
