They pushed it to Feb so it wouldn't cannibalize Resistance 2 sales

Well when a company makes a release date, they also make a schedule that fits that release date.  Any changes to the releasse date will mess with the schedule.  So when GG made Feb 27th the release date for KZ2, they probaly had a schedule they created to get the most out of the time left until the release date.  I know the lengthened the Beta and added more people.  The also did a demo, which they probably werent going to do in the first place, plus it also gave them more time to think of and deploy a marketing strategy.

In my reckoning Feb the 27th falls under the category of 'sometime in feb' march however is a different story lol

Resistance: Fall of man continues selling even after MGS4, Uncharted, Grand Theft Auto IV, Resistance 2, Bioshock PS3, Call of Duty 4, The Orange Box, and more.

So I doubt one game will kill Resistance 2's sales.

i support aurons argument.. of giving resistance 2 some room... while still cashin in on kz2 in the 2008 fiscal year ....

and i think it has to do with marketing strategies.. they tried to get a little bit further away from the post christmas sales.. and a little more into the the easter-ish timefame... if there are actually people who buy 60$ games as easter gifts..

I dont believe that.
