I'd be pissed at Sony but thats because i'm not really a fan of the ps3 but rather a fan of the game. If sites like gamespot, gametrailers, ign all say that Uncharted sucks then I'll blame the developers for not making the game as good as it should have been. Though I would play it to make sure their wasn't any exaggeration.

How well did past versions of Unreal do on consoles?

He talks about sales for UT on the PS3 and you respond with how it looks the same as the PC?

The fact of the matter is, most of the UT fanbase is on the PC - and thats where it will stay. The type of gameplay it offers is not like your typical, decent selling console FPS.


 No.. I jsut forgot to actually type up the rest of my arguement lol. 12:51 now.. got back from college 2 hours ago.. tired as hell...

But really i can see the people who doesnt have the money to upgrade their PC to be able to handle the UE3 the PS3 version will be ideal.

 I'm not commenting on the number of AAA titles the PS3 has (I really don't care)and I don't really care how highly it's rated, I'm just saying it's not going to sell great on the PS3.  It may support mouse and keyboard on consoles but it is a PC game and one of those few games that will just do better on the PC.

Also, thinking about the mouse and keyboard, don't expect everyone to realize that or even have a mouse and keyboard handy.  If there are two things you can rely on in people it's stupidity and laziness.

 this site doesnt have the correct sales, I know the port of Unreal 2003 (Unreal Championship) and Unreal Championship 2 actually sold pretty well. If I remember right they were easily million sellers.

Hmm ,so it is a bit short .Well ,just as Gears of War and all the monkeys jumped and applauded to that .

Really guys ,you have seen the trailer .Great graphics ,cinematic values and deep gameplay (if you arent a stupid button masher ) so dont let some mags fool you .This game is worth getting ,even if it is a little short .

Only if they already own a PS3....

I guess the second option. I don't know about you but I have a lot games that didn't scored very well (Dynasty Warriors, Kessen II....) that I damned love so much :s.
After a time you don't care so much about reviews and their scores.

How much did IGN gave to GOW?

Because I don't see a lot of differences between GOW and HS.

HS looks beautifull
Gow looks beautifull
HS gameplay not so long and repetive
GOW gameplay not so long and repetive
HS sound great
GOW sound great

.....


I guess my issue with what's happening to these games and how they are being reviewed is that they honestly seemed like they had a lot of potential to be great.  I think Sony (not the developers) has killed that potential by demanding they be released before they were ready in order to strengthen their 07 game lineup.  I would much rather see games delayed and have their potential maximized than released like this (6-7 hours is ridiculous, even for the hack-and-slash genre).
