Hs wont even compare to bio and metroid

it just goes down to those two, and i dont know hmmm but in all both deserve it, least bioshock does cause ive played it, havent played metroid yet

 What is it about Kber81 and THIS GAME.  Every single thread he is defending it to the core, and abusing anyone who suggests a reviewer whos played the entire game and says its worth 6 or 7 MIGHT know more about the game than he whos played a five minute demo

kber did not insult anyone. You two need to chill. He was just using a simple proverb. I may not agree with his meaning, but I think it's pretty obvious he wasn't insulting or trying to insult anyone.

I think that HS will be great. Ppl forget that HS is not a solely a button masher... You have to have the right stances or you get owned.  I love the stances and I think it will make each battle different.  

The only problem I have with these reviews from IGN, beside the fact there are inconsistant and their overall rating doesn't reflect any common sens, is why these reviews have been pulled out 3 weeks before the actual game release, when they usually wait untill the last couple of days to do so. Unless they are trying to dissuade people to buy the game or to persuade them to cancel their preorder. I smell something... fishy.

And I don't see why IGN's reviews should prevail upon polish PSX Extreme which gave it a 9.4, Game Pro which gave it a 9, or Czech Doupè which gave it a 9.

Because 99.5% of tis forum have just heard the word "Czech Dupè" , which, for all they know you have just made up. that is why it is not trusted as much as IGN

Because IGN gets it closest to right more often then anybody else.  There are also no statistics on Czech Dupe or PSX Extreme online on which to judge their credibility.  Gamepro is almost as credible as IGN but doesn't have the same standing IGN has.

 A 7 and a 9 equal an 8.  I'm not seeing how there overall doesn't reflect common sense though.  Gameplay and lasting ability are worth more then Graphics, sound and presentation.  How does that defy common sense?

Seriously, do you expect sound to be worth the same amount as Gameplay?

Think of it objectivly for a second... more People will play a game with good Gamplay and lasting appeal with bad graphics and sound (Think Pokemon) then they will a game with Good Graphics and sound but bad gameplay. (Think any number of flops that have happened.)

So of course those two are going to be worth more then the other three. 

Say out of 10

Gameplay is 4 points

Replayability is 3

Presentation is 1.5

Graphics is 1

Sound is .5

That would get you an average rating of 7.0.

 For a breakdown it'd be 4*7+3*5+ 3*9 = 28+15+27 = 70.

Yeah right I made that up...

For your information, a site or a mag is not more reliable than another just because it is written in english, they are lots of people all over the world speaking different languages who are fully well-able of reviewing games.
